Dr. Miquel Angel Piera is a full-time Professor and senior researcher at the Logistics and Aeronautics Unit of the Autonomous University of Barcelona in Spain. He had been the director of the Aeronautical Management degree at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He holds a Ph.D. in informatics from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and an MSc. in Control Engineering at the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology. He is the former coordinator of the Spanish Modeling and Simulation group of CEA-IFAC. In the last 15 years, he funded 3 spin-off companies in the area of modeling, simulation, and decision-making, leading several industrial and technology transfer projects. Dr. Piera has published 6 books and more than 150 scientific papers and is co-author of 1 European Patent. He has participated in several international projects for industry and research projects funded by the European Commission, in the area of Logistics, Intelligent Transport Systems and Air Traffic Management.

Dr. Sc. Bogusz Wiśnicki – since 1993 employed by the Maritime Academy in Szczecin, presently as the Assistant Professor at the Department of Maritime Economy and Transport Systems. In the years 2012-2016, he served as the Vice-Dean of the Transport Economics and Engineering Faculty. His career relates to the maritime industry, i.a. worked for the Polish and foreign shipowners and was employed in port companies. Since 2018 he has been employed as an external expert by the Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority. Bogusz Wiśnicki is the author of over 130 scientific publications, numerous scientific studies commissioned, and he made several foreign internships. His main research area is maritime and intermodal transport systems with emphasis on new technologies implementation. He actively participated in international research and development projects financed by European and Polish funds. He is an expert in the carriage of dangerous goods by inland waterway (ADN) and a legal expert in the field of containerisation systems.

Angel Orozco Turrubiates is currently Security Program Manager at the Mexico City International Airport (AICM), he is in charge of updating corporate plans and programs regarding civil aviation security, contingencies and emergencies of the AICM in accordance with international regulations. He has 25 years of experience in aircraft and airport operations in various roles and disciplines of civil aviation. Some of the projects in which he has participated are the IATA Safety Audit Program (IOSA), Air Operator Certification, Analysis of operational and financial risks of aircraft and airports, fleet planning, PBN Navigation, Airworthiness, Certification of Aerodromes, Operational Safety and Civil Aviation Management Systems (SMS and SeMS respectively), facilitation, CORSIA, master plans, regulatory Improvement, among others. Some of the organizations and authorities with which he has collaborated include airlines, air taxis, insurance companies, authorities, and organizations, among which are Transportes Aeromar, Mexicana de Aviación, Aeromexico, British Airways, Omni Flys, American International Group (AIG). , General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics (DGAC, now AFAC), National Chamber of Air Transport (CANAERO), IK Aerospace Group, the Aeronautical University in Querétaro (UNAQ) and the Regional University of the North (URN). He has been certified under the Air Operator Certification and Aircraft Certification System Evaluation Program of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA, USA), as a National AVSEC Inspector and AVSEC Instructor by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). He is an Aeronautical Engineer graduated from the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN), he has specialized in Economic Sciences (Investment Projects) and Aerodrome Engineering and Certification from the same institution, as well as in Airport Management from the Aeronautical University in Querétaro. He is a member of the College of Mexican Aeronautical Engineers, he has collaborated with the Dutch Benelux Simulation Society, the University of Applied Sciences of Amsterdam and the Universidad Santo Tomás of Colombia in academic research and simulation projects on air transport. Today he teaches the subjects of Aircraft and Engines, part I and II at the Universidad Regional del Norte (URN) in the Bachelor of Air and Airport Business Administration.
